“Back to Church Sunday,” part of a national movement of churches across America, will be held at Mt. Olivet Baptist on Sunday, September 10th. Everyone is welcome to attend.
You may not realize this but "Back to Church Sunday" started as a call to action and invitation for the church in 2009. This year the National Back to Church Sunday (BTCS) movement marks its fourteenth year and continues to gain momentum. More than 5 million Christ followers have participated through 30,000 churches! It is a day focused on uniting the church to equip and empower members to be inviters. Eight out of ten people say they are open to visiting church if invited—they are just waiting for an invitation.
For Back to Church Sunday, we will have a special service that features :
We are excited to be able to participate in the this campaign. It marks the closing of Summer, schools back in session, vacations coming to a close. It also provides an opportunity for individuals who have not been involved in church to come and be a part of our growing and exciting church.
This year’s Back to Church Sunday campaign is designed to encourage current church attenders to invite friends and neighbors to come experience the support, hope and friendship available at a local church. As well as discovering the deeper, spiritual benefits that faith can provide.
Our "Back to Church" worship service will begin at 10am on Sept. 10th. We provide both an onsite and online opportunity to worship with us.
I look forward to seeing you as we all come "Back to Church!"

Our Back to Church Sunday was a huge success. We enjoyed a full house in our Worship Center and 28 join us online. I look forward to what God has in store for our future at Mt. Olivet.
